If you are looking for the quintessential French countryside town Saint Antonin Noble Val is it. Kipsala is a small and exclusive island close to the old town of Riga that has some fantastic views. The Pardaugava district is full of colourful wooden houses. Riga has an art nouveau district filled with beautiful buildings and a fantastic art nouveau museum. Unlike some other European cities, once you had outside of the old town the beauty of Riga continues. It is a wonderful mix of charming old Europe and modern innovations. Lovely Riga is the capital of Latvia and the biggest city in the Baltics.
